The picture is a lie though, those red things aren’t even their eyes, just part of their antenna. their eyes are further up their head and are black. And the “teeth” are actually just hairs above their pincers.

This image is misleading. It's more like an optical illusion. If you know what an ant's face looks like up close (most people don't) then you'll understand there's nothing scary about this image at all. first of all, notice the lighting in the image. The image is darkened to give it a more scary/eerie look at its face. Secondly, notice those two red eyes. well, those are not eyes at all. they are actually the base of the ant's two antennae thats on top of its head. You don't even see the actual eyes in the image because they are darkened out. Lastly, those teeth that you see are not teeth at all. Ants don't have teeth. They have two jaws to the left and on the right called mandibles (look carefully at the image). Those are actually sensory hairs at the front of the mouth that look like teeth. Ants are very fascinating creatures and there's so much more we need to learn about them. but it's a good optical illusion though.
