How to apply LOADS in ABAQUS using EQUATIONS

Do you know you can apply complex load types defined by an analytical equation in ABAQUS? This is made possible by the Analytical Fields feature inside of ABAQUS. In this video, I show you how to apply in global coordinates sinusoidal (sine curve) displacement as well as parabolic, linear and trinomial curve displacements. Finally, in local cylindrical coordinates, I also show how a tangentially-varying pressure load can be imposed also using the Analytical Fields feature in ABAQUS.

Thank you so much for your kindness, Dr. Michael Okereke. But the problem that I faced is different from what you have shown in this video. I think it will be easier to understand if I can show you my sketch of various loads. Because I got my various loads from the calculation of the coordinates of each node.

Hi Dr.Okereke, thank you for your video. I got a quick question of Tangentially-varying Pressure Load part. May I ask what if I want to make the load in the circle have the same direction? I mean, can we make all the load direction inward circle center please? Thank you.

Thank you very much Dear Prof for this video, i want to know, how can i apply a displacement for only one direction (Normal to the surfaces) for example 1mm to the Part of an ellipsoid ? and how can i do it ? please . Thank you again.
