Product page:

OUR MOST POWERFUL BATTERY STROBE YET
The AD1200 Pro has a massive 1200 W*s maximum output, perfect for heavily stopped down shooting or HSS. Its massive 36V 5200mAh is capable of recycling the full power in less than 2 seconds and providing 400+ full power shots on one charge. That means roughly 1 second to recycle 600W*s, and 800+ shots on a single charge at that power!

PACK AND HEAD DESIGN
When strobes get this powerful, the added size and weight of capacitors and heat-syncs makes a pack and head the best choice. The lightweight head is mounted on your stand, and the heavy pack with the bulk of the fans and hardware remains on the ground. In addition to helping you manage weight on your stands, the pack remains easily accessible if you want to check battery life, reassign flash groups or channels, etc.

THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE
When you buy your Godox AD1200 Pro from us, you get our industry leading support. Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, 2 year warranty, and Calgary based service centre.

BRIGHT LED MODELLING LIGHT
The 40W COB LED modelling light is bright enough to be considered a true replacement for a traditional tungsten modelling lamp. If you shoot both stills and video, this modelling light could even be used as a supplementary video light with all of the modifier options that the Bowens mount provides.

TTL AND HIGH SPEED SYNC (HSS)
The Godox AD1200 Pro supports TTL and HSS on any of the camera systems we currently support, as long as the correct controller is mounted on your camera (Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Olympus/Panasonic, and Pentax).

9 STOP POWER RANGE
Even though this light has a huge maximum power, it is able to dial down 9 full stops to 1/256 of its output if you need a low power pop. The Godox AD1200 Pro can be used in any scenario.

FITS ALL MODIFIERS
The Godox AD1200 Pro fits all Strobepro and Bowens modifiers.

Wow what a great video. Your a natural in front of the camera. I am finally ready to purchase one of these. I already own 2 godox ad600’s, 2 ad200’s, and 2 V1’s for both my cameras. But I am getting into a lot of action shots for sports and I am looking for a powerful strobe that has the quicker recycle times when using HSS. I was thinking about the 2 head adapter to connect both of my ad600’s but it seems more of a hassle to connect and then mount to a light stand but is a much cheaper route than the ad1200 pro. But since Business is doing good I rather have the 1200 for those super bright sunny days if I need the extra power. And it will be great to have those faster recycle times at lower power. Yep it’s time to treat myself for Christmas. Thanks for taking the time to do such a great in-depth video on this. It’s much appreciated. Happy holidays

I have absolutely no practical need at this point in my career for such a rig so of course I'm currently saving up for such a rig🤭

Great video. Covered absolutely everything! Will probably come back to it after I get my light. Thanks!

Impressive. So nice that the control pack has the same architecture as the smaller lights that I already own. Zero learning curve.

Well I pulled the trigger and I finally ordered one. I’m so excited to finally have those faster recycle times with a higher output then my ad600’s. Don’t get me wrong I love them, but to do multiple shots in bursts capturing motion at a higher shutter speed is going to be nice

No wonder why tons of Broncolor and Profoto is being sold off on Ebay. My old stuff is still working perfectly, but if I could I'd move on to modern equipment like this!

as far as capacity goes, a better solution is to split the battery in two, ie two units, which plug into each other, or have two sockets ( aka a shipping configuration), so when traveling you have two batteries, within limits, and still have the whattage when you go to actually use the pack!! even if there are two sockets, that is no big problem, as this means you can function at 1/2 capacity, aka 600W/s while the other battery charges, so you don't loose out on having a flash altogether ( a bit like a cameras battery grip, two batteries, so you get twice the run time).

Disappointed there was no images that actually showed anything of these features. Best thing about the other brands is the Color Consistancy across the power range

Very thorough video - thx - I'm having a lot of misfires with the AD1200 and the R2 remote - any suggestions?

Hi Jessie or anyone else any advise most welcome. My intention is to photograph dogs in action including in the water so they could be a bit of a distance from the light. Am I right in thinking this is the light for me or would a couple of the Godox Ad600pro be better for me? Have a limited budget so need to make the right purchase. Thank you in advance

Is there the option to plug this in if one wants or does it only have the capability of operating from battery power?

I know I'm late seeing this video, but not being to take the lithium battery on the plane is really detrimental. My lithium is 94.9 wh just below the 100 mark.

Is there an over heat protection limit?

Is there a way to set the pack to remember power setting after powering down?

Wow, a modernized Hensel Porty at half the price.

This thing is trash, mine stopped working after two uses. Stick to Profoto, Elinchrom or Broncolor.
