My least favorite thing about modern cheap electronics is when something with a USB-C port cannot charge with every USB-C cable — it means that they didn’t install the right resistors to be plugged into, say, a MacBook charger and then limit the power down to what it can handle. Thanks for calling that out, Russ!

Congrats on getting get a V2 with a hinge that wasn't broken out of the box.

It's absolutely insane that they didn't enable PD charging with these devices. It's literally just two tiny 5.6k resistors. That's all you need for the charger to recognize it as a legacy device and send at least 5V to it.

I share the same sentiments with the 35XX vs the Flip. The slight reduction of chunkiness goes a long way for convenience.

In the future when you review the plastics quality, could you also please include something about how the plastic feels hardness-wise? Like, maybe a squeeze or knock on the shell. I'd be interested in knowing if the build quality feels tight or creaky on these devices.

I love the pastel colors on the white version. It looks like vanilla ice cream with sprinkles on it. I only wish they had leaned into the those colors more and made all of the buttons and sticks to be pastel.
