Lots of tech in this car! The one feature that really impressed me is the GPS based raising and lowering of the car. Meaning, if there is a high drive way you need to pull into do, you can program the GPS location and the car will automatically raise itself before you pull in.

New corvette has a "torque key" that prevents full power till the car is driven 500 miles /800Km. That could be why you thought it wasn't 0 to 100Km in 3 seconds

Love the new C8. I’ve got one in my garage. Couple of things. The camera that records the track and dash camera is in front of the rear view mirror, not the front parking cameras. 0-100 time fro Chevrolet is 7.1 Sec and the 0-60 is 2.8 Sec.

I believe the car you where driving has the GT3 seats which are the track seat. The GT2 seat is much more comfortable and track worthy. The GT1 seat which is the base seat is very comfy but not as much support for the track.

Just wait until they come out with the next models.. I’d be willing to bet that they will outrun nearly all super cars for half the price. Z06 will be insane and zr1 will be running with the fastest in the world

Well done Alex. The Corvette has always lived on the fringes or sports car & muscle car. However I think going mid-engine, dual clutch etc... clearly signals that we are now in sports car territory. And no question with the type of performance it now delivers it is clearly a supercar. I always considered the C2 a supercar of it's day.
