This car is awesome... I have one.. great power and nice fuel consumption... I could reach 225 km/h with no problem, not sure if it could go faster... Fuel consumption on the road (average 115 km/h) reach 16 km/l.

in this video 1.4 122ps reachs 0-100 in 8.7 secs which is faster than what VW claims I liked that. Of course 140 is faster but some says 250nm tork of 140 version is more vulnerable to DSG failures what do you think?

8, 4 Sekunden(gut, natürlich nach Tacho und nicht nach GPS) sind ein Hammerwert für ein 122 PS Auto.

im thinking to put a full exaust pipe line and put more pression on turbo that can give me 160hp. but already original i smoke saxo cup, punto hgt, vw golf 3 gti (115), its a nice car im loving to drive it...

your car has a 100% full tank, it would be a bit faster if you had less fuel...

This is the 122HP model, It's quite simple - all VW speedo's are out by about 10%, they have been for over a 100km/h was only really when the speedo hit 110km/h....which took about 10 seconds not 8.4. Bung a satnav in that has speed readings and you will see it reads about 10% lower than what the speedo indicates. Thats the difference between 'indicated' speed and actual speed.
