Method 1:
- Right-click on page and click 'View Source'
- Search "maxresdefault.jpg" and the corresponding url it's in

Method 2:
- The format for the full image url is: img.youtube.com/vi/[Video ID]/hqdefault.jpg
- Replace [Video ID]
with the video's ID. You can find it in the video's URL with the text string "v=[Video ID]&lc=..."
- For example, this video has a Video ID = 0dhkULi62z0

So the url for the full size thumbnail for this video is:

it worked before the youtube update but now there 1 out of 360 words thumbnail and when i type thumbnailurl it show 0 out of 0

It still works, when you view the source code, make sure you replace all the \/'s with the original forward slash "/"

I figured it out! Ctrl-f and type "thumbnails" (with an s), and go to the last one. There are up to 4 links associated with it. If the first URL after the colon is a dud, find the next one (usually on the next line). The reason there is 4 is because there is because the first link is the 1080p version, second 720p, third 480p, and fourth 360p. Often youtubers don't upload high res pictures so the third and fourth link will more than likely be where the picture is located. Like so Take 5 can update his video, but verify for yourselves first as I have only tried this with a few different videos as of now.

Just FYI this still works I just tried it, an easier way to go about is to contol+f and search thumbnailurl and that gets you the result right away.

Sorry, doesn't work. ThumbnailURL doesn't exist in page source and the word 'thumbnail' appears over 300 times.

*I figured out a way that works in May 2019 (there are 320 instances of "thumbnail" using this method).*
1. Go to the Youtube channel.
2. Click the _Videos_ tab.
3. Find the video. Right click the image of it. Left click _Open image in new tab_
