Oh Laura. A friend of mine gave me a couple of these home made bags as gifts. They work great for a few loaves of bread and other light weight items. But once you start adding anything of weight, ie milk, cans, bottles, they fail miserably! Or maybe mine were made with too much spandex! The handles were extended to the point that the bag was dragging on the ground. LOL
