I'm glad that Tyler is successfully producing films with black actors, because Lord knows its very snowy in Hollywood.... I am looking forward to him writing/producing more movies like "The Six Triple Eight" that is a historical drama in the back drop of WW2, coming out in December. I would love to see us more in historical dramas and fantasy movies.

Why does almost every series with a majority black cast have to have strippers, or some sort of stereotypical/over-sexualized conflict to captivate the viewers. Like why can’t we get other storylines that shows the multi facets of the black community 🤦🏽‍♀️ You want to show a rags to riches story or a girl envying a rich family why can’t she just be a broke college girl or a struggling waiter or anything else! This over-sexualisation of bw in black shows is so overplayed we are tired. Black representation needs diverse writing damn. Anytime a black character is written beyond stereotypes they are usually paired with a non-black co-star, we need that same writing when it’s a black focused show😩
