This worked for me. Thank you! The trick in my case was turning off location services before rebooting. I had tried turning off WiFi and BT before rebooting and it had not worked. Adding in the location services made the difference.

Suggesting saving maps offline will fix the GPS problem makes no sense. Even in terms of "phone doing one thing at a time", it's still using a map regardless of if it is downloading this on the fly. If you have offline maps, your map app will still be requesting the GPS location from the GPS hardware.

I don’t have any location services option so I just turned-off the WiFi & the blutooth

I tried all of these processes, and it still saying "NO GPS. Showing approximate location error" in my iphone 6.

I tried these tips, but my Maps app on the iPhone SE still doesn’t work since the latest iOS update. The Go button doesn’t do anything. Google maps does work, but I prefer the maps app because it connects to Apple CarPlay.
