Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says Donald Trump is ready to “upend things” in his second term as president.

Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, declaring in his inauguration speech to sign a series of executive orders, speaking on issues such as energy, gender and the failed attempt on his life.

“This time around, what we’ve seen is that they are better prepared, they have a lot more people who understand the Washington DC establishment who are coming in,” Ms Nielsen said.

“A lot of these picks are really ready to work and know how the system works.”
