UPDATE on the Harbor Freight 10 inch Warrior Table Saw, comparison to Skilsaw!!

Almost a year ago, I was in the market for a table saw and found the Warrior 10 inch table saw at Harbor Freight. Even though I had spent hours over the course of months trying to understand what would be the best saw to purchase, there were things that I didn't know until after I had gotten more into woodworking with the help of a friend. How does this compare with my initial review of the table saw? Watch to find out!

Also, sorry about the noise from the saw during the cutting portion! I forgot to turn it off!

I use mine to cut 1/4 inch strips, and it does alright, it just has to be much longer than the gap in the insert, so you can apply pressure before the cut and then come around and apply pressure to the table after the cut. I also run masking tape very tightly over the gap in my insert. Definitely requires a push block as opposed to push stick as well being so thin.
I was planning on making a zero clearance insert but the insert is SO thin (like 1/16 inch), so I may be fashioning an insert for the gap in the insert. I don't use mine for miter cuts at all.
For $120 with the 25% coupon I'm very happy with the purchase.

Edit: the skil would have been my preferred choice but I couldn't justify the price difference. That stand is pretty sweet!

I have the same HF Warrior saw. I shaved down the head of a 1/2-13 hex bolt to be 0.191" thick and it fits perfectly in the T-slot.

Thank you, I’m looking for a saw and was going to buy this one cause it was on sale… now I know why. Thanks for saving me some $$ and frustration ❤

OMG everything you have said about the warrior is the exact same thing I've said. I have so many runners whatever you call them for miter slots that I ordered that don't fit. I also don't like the fence cause if you don't hold down or measure every single time the other end will be more to left or to right. If I knew then what I know now I would have gotten the dewalt. But I just got into wood workin maybe a year .

Hello again I bought a 10 inch Craftsman table saw and I love it however my wood is not cutting all the way through when I make rip cuts.

I ended up buying the Skill table saw for myself. I couldn’t believe the difference.

My husband keeps buying cheap crap from that place to use to fix several things around our home. This saw is the only saw I have available, and I’m getting no where fast.

Had I seen that skil saw before I bought my Ridgid I would have gotten that one. I ended up hating my stand for it, kind of this scissor X frame. I bought a dewalt stand I modified my saw to fit, probably voided my warranty, but am happier with. When my Ridgid stuff dies I’m going to go all Skil. Probably will be a while.

Damn, saw this too late, I bought a warrior and had it too long to return. I am a newbie, too. Problem with my saw is the diving knife does not line up with blade! I guess I am screwed with this warrior.

Really enjoy your videos. Almost bought that HB saw. Glad I didn’t. Btw try to keep your phone in landscape when filming :) keep up the good work.

The warrior saw has me so pissed right now. I have noticed that it won't make straight cuts so I checked the blade alignment and it is off at 1/16" inch at 90° and 5/32 @ 45°. And there's no instructions on how to realign the blade nor can I figure it out...😡😡😡

Just bought this, broken in the box; Harbor Freight won't take it back. It's junk, they are trash. Save up for something decent.

Gee, over twice the price and you are surprised at the quality difference? Welcome to the real world....

ROTFLMAO If your "wood working skills" are not up to a Harbor Freight table saw, maybe put in a few more years before trying to upgrade!
