Einstein: Without one I will not be taken seriously as a physicist.
Doesn't get degree.
Yet when somebody thinks of a physicist, e=mc^2 comes first in mind.

Fun fact: Einstein was a 16 year old at the time. Of course he would have an immature view of varied subjects and a simplistic idea of their worth.

There some students facing this proplem across the world, students are forced to study many subjects which later become non-benficial to them. I love physics and i get good marks in every test or exam like albert.

At least he the Austrian scientist furthered into his own interest field rather than joining politics

It's really true that "Politics is a matter of present concern" and that "mathematical equations are eternal".

During Pythagoras time politics, they probably discussed how to punish a slave who disobeyed, something that is totally obsolete today, but Pythagoras Theorem is still as true as today as then.

With flying colours is a idiom which is very important in exam point of view

Education SHOULD produce as well rounded a mind as possible. It is a PERSON being educated not a robot. Einstein love playing the violin and sailing, in spite of it not being physics. Widening one's horizons can only help in all your pursuits. He was not expected to be an expert at everything, just conversant with them so he can see further and have more options.
