Sky Sports are currently using this ad to promote their new Tennis channel, it took me right back to this Sony ad, can't believe it was about 15 years ago. One of the best ads with a great song included.

Adam savage from Mythbusters actually just told a story about this on his channel. A friend of his lives on this street, and they were definitely real bouncy balls, and he is still finding them in his garden after it rains.


They apparently broke a ton of windows doing this commercial, and they handed out vouchers to all of the residents to get them replaced.

It's awesome how a single bouncy ball's trajectory, when duplicated 250, 000 times, creates an illusion of floating, undulating, swarming circles of color. Very cool artistic concept!

I clearly recall the first time I ever saw this advert. Late 2005 I think... I was stopped in my tracks and completely mesmerized. Simply the best TV ad ever.
