Garage Forms

Some of the more important things to remember about the differences are that garage policies take several distinct forms - there’s the garage liability form, which provides coverage for the operation of autos and associated liability concerns. This section provides coverage for autos owned by the business, autos held for sale, and autos owned by another person used in the business. It doesn’t cover customer autos held in storage, but will cover test drives if the dealership has coverage for repair operations. It will also cover demonstrator vehicles if the salesperson has an accident. It will also cover “other dealership operations,” and closely mirrors a commercial general liability policy. This will cover slip and fall cases, repairs to a car that are faulty and result in damage to the car or injures a person, and other “non-driving” issues.
