Marimba Jam Breaks the World Record for the "Largest Marimba Ensemble" with 241 females on Women's Day 2018!

On the 9 August 2018, South Africa’s Women’s Day, Marimba Jam broke the World Record for the "Largest Marimba Ensemble". Previous holders of this title include Australia with 108 players on 3 November 2016, and Zimbabwe with 222 players on 25 May 2018.
Marimba Jam breaks this record as we gathered 241 women, between the ages of 8 and 23, at Tygervalley Centre in order to bring the record back to the home continent of the marimba.
