Please join us for an evening of inspiration on May 28 at the Sconset Casino.

LUNAFEST® is a traveling film festival dedicated to championing women filmmakers, while bringing people and perspectives together within communities. The festival features a program of short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives, including gender nonconforming individuals. The program highlights aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connection while celebrating all arts within filmmaking from concept theory, writing, drawing, imagery, and animation to filming and editing.

It's is an example of how one person can easily make a significant difference in the lives of women. Whether that person is a filmmaker who tells an untold story, a host who raises funds and awareness for the cause, or an attendee who leaves the event with a new perspective - each is a catalyst for change.

The power of truth based storytelling changes global views. Film is proven to impact change by awareness and influence. Change starts one person at a time in one community at a time.

NCTV invites you to be part of that change on May 28th.

Doors open at 5:00 PM with catering by Lemon Press, photo booth by Zofia and Co, music by DJ Pete Ahern, silent auction and more.This year’s event will be hosted by four time EMMY award winner and former WCVB-TV news anchor, Heather Unruh.
