Building Your Library in Zotero

First off, since we will be doing so much scientific writing throughout the year, it will save you sooooo much time to use a citation manager program when compiling research citations. Citation managers are life-saving software programs that will automatically import your background research paper PDFs and help you compile citations in a bibliography while you write! Without using a citation manager, I used to spend hours on end manually formatting my citations, moving them around, making sure they were all there, etc., but what a nightmare! If you're not already familiar with using a citation manager, we will be using the end of class to go over two different citation managers: Mendeley and Zotero. Feel free to use whatever program you want, but these two are among our favorites!
