The Image: Haven't we all done this? - tilted our head to left (or right) while walking on the street to glance at someone who is acting slightly unusual? (In this case, Eve Gill (Jane Wyman) rehearing her script to pretend she is a maid to thus investigate Marlene Dietrich!).
Pretty darn good; maybe my second favourite cameo - and that particular glance - so unmistakably Hitchcock: patrician - and slightly disapproving in this case...
