Hurricane Debby and what Maryland can expect

Meteorologist Stevie Daniels breaks down the path of #hurricanedebby and what we can expect here locally in Maryland.

Debby is now moving even slower at 6 mph, creating a widespread flash flood threat to the Carolinas and SE US. Right now, model guidance indicates that winds will be strongest on Friday and Saturday. It looks like the heaviest rain will arrive on Friday. The exact timing/track of Debby will dictate the severity of the flooding...right now there is some uncertainty. Some models have 2-4” with localized amounts a bit greater if it tracks farther east. It will be interesting to see how Debby interacts with the boundary that will meander to the south of us on Wednesday/Thursday.
