I'm a 30 year old black U.S Army vet and big fan of the SAS. Probably not the major demographic most people think of when they think of who the show is for. But I was screaming from the roof tops to get a S2 because this was my show of the year. I'd like to think that back in WW2 I would have loved to have been with them. Much respect to the UK from Tennessee.

This was one of the coolest shows I've ever watched. The soundtrack, script and action was phenomenal!

As an Italian, it will be cool to watch! In pop culture the US is often portrayed as Italy's liberator in WW2, but the Brits achieved so much, starting from Africa and throughout the campaign.

My Grandfather Billy Lavill was number 1 squadron 2nd SAS, he joined them in 1941 was captured and escaped three times he joined up at age 14 and was originaly a gunner with the Royal artillery. He served under David Stirling possibly Bill Stirling and then Roy Farran

As a Zimbabwean of British stock, I am hyped for this. Brilliant cast and series! Can't wait! Some of the men directly featured in this series and in real life were Rhodesians from my country. Lion-hearted men such as Mike Sadler immigrated to Southern Rhodesia ( today Zimbabwe ). These men formed the Rhodesian SAS to fight in the Malayan Emergency. Later, during the Rhodesian Bush War, the Rhodesian SAS became legends. World-Renown for their expertise and lion-hearted courage. It is all thanks to the courage and lionheartedness of David Stirling, Paddy Mayne and Jock Lewes. Grateful to all the men of the SAS. 💯💯👏🏻👏🏻

**"I Just binge-watched SAS Rogue Heroes—12 hours straight—and as someone who's studied the SAS books in detail for years, this was an absolute pleasure. For once, a show actually gets the history right, down to the finest details. The guy playing Paddy Mayne was the only one who could have done it, but they needed someone twice as tall and twice as wide to match him physically!

One of the best bits was how they showed the SAS scrounging and stealing whatever they needed to survive in the desert—like when they nicked an entire bar, a grand piano, and kit from the Australians while they were out on manoeuvres. That really happened, and it shows how they had to build everything from nothing.

Loads of other historical accuracies too, like David Stirling sneaking into a high command base. I think the real story was that he actually cut through a fence and got past while a guard was distracted—not quite slipping through unnoticed, but close enough. These things always tweak the details a bit. But I know what I’m talking about, and I was highly impressed. Really good impression.

A lot of this is focused around Paddy Mayne, and he was an absolute force—completely uncontrollable, except by David Stirling, the founder. And even then, it was only because Stirling didn’t try to manipulate him—he was a true leader. Watching all of it unfold, from the hit-and-run raids on airfields to the way they operated in the desert, was incredible. It was like decades of reading coming together on a screen right in front of me.

And Reg Seakings—he was a real guy, one of the originals. All the other characters were named after real SAS men too, as they were known. The way they used their names represented them well, even if it couldn’t capture everything about who they were. And the horrors they came home to after the war… that’s something people don’t talk about enough. What they went through didn’t just end when the fighting stopped."**

Loving this second season. Finished watching episode 4 and can barely bring myself to watch the rest because I'll never get to see it a first time ever again. I've read books so good that the closer I get to the end the slower I read them for the same reason. This is the first time I have ever felt that way about a TV show.
