Ill give you a few reasons why its a toss up whether it succeeds or not. 50/50. Peacemaker, an over abundance of ridiculousness and jokes. Creature commandos.... No one cares, not enough big hitters in the first few movies he chose to do No flash, no Batman, ect there are other things but im too impatient to name them. Watch he's going to have the Superman has a poop fettish joke as a pay off by Superman picking up Kryptos poop. Ive predicted this as soon as i heard it. Personally i dont like nerd Clark, it doesn't need to be believable its fantastical, i prefer Tom Wellings version of Clark or Tyler's plus Cavills kind of NORMAL not ridiculously a nerd. It's been done shouldn't be done anymore however Brandon Routh did a good job of this in my opinion. I think Corenswet is a good choice to play Superman i think the movie could be pretty good. However i dont want humor in a Superman movie i know it's just my personal preference but i prefer serious stuff i love marvel and the humor in that but i dont want Everything to be marvel. Thats why i love Man of Steel. I dont enjoy Bvs as or Zacks justice league as much as i did man of steel. I wish to have had at least one sequel rather than bvs or justice league. Bvs isnt a sequel to me.

Fantastic 4 retro futuristic vibe looking more interesting than retro futuristic superman... Both will succeed but I think F4 is gonna gross more!
I believe superman 25' will make atleast as much as guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 with 800mil worldwide gross from his existing fans (which tops the underperformed wokenda n ants during marvel's declining period).Imo, TSS shouldn't have been a part of the free HBO Max streaming contents but atleast WB saw it's potential by greenlighting its sequel peacemaker b4 TSS release.That was a major streaming success too ..DC, Marvel and Marvel Studios GOTG fans loves it!
Audiences are smart!! They know the director and what he did(while being popular among major studios too). NOT because he worked with marvel. If that's the case, gotg3 wouldve share the same fate as the wokenda and ants! He already has massive amount of fans(by the millions n im 1 o em)...then add more millions from real DC fans who actually do reads DC comics like me...

Christopher Reeve had a screen presence that Henry Cavill didn't come close to. Judging by Netflix Hollywood it's very possible David will be great.

Have Superman and Lois be akin to Smallvile Clark and Lois.

Imagine if DCU Superman would've had a career as Superboy? as an anonymous hero until he goes public as an adult in Metropolis.
