Final Fantasy XV: King Regis says goodbye to Noctis

Regis doesn't want to let him go oh my god. He keeps stepping forward for "one more thing" because he knows what's about to happen. This is one of the saddest scenes in the game in retrospect, ffs ;A;

I love this scene. Noctis is ignorant that he will never see his father again. My grandpa sent me off like this before starting college, and I never saw him again. Be nice to relatives who truly love you.

When I first saw this, I was like... okay sure.
After finishing the game and watching this again...
I hear "Walk tall, my son" and it gives me the chills.

2:18 This exact moment, knowing that this may be the last time he ever gets to see his son... This scene right here is what makes this entire game a very incredible and emotional game. I have never been so attached to characters in a video game. This game definitely owns a spot on my top 10 list of favorite games.

I love how much Regis loves his son. You can tell by their talk that Noctis is use to his father being overprotective. It's so sad that this the the last talk he had with him. And that Regis knew but Noctis did not. I wish we had more scenes with them both. Also that Regis said "You have no cause for concern" knowing that he was about to die is just 😟

Noctis lost his father, his bride and childhood friend, he had to kill his only relative and he also had to die for his kingdom.
Never going to play a tragic game like this ever again. Last FF game for me.
