Trump Suspends Student Loan Payments, Moves Tax Day to July 15

Mar.20 -- President Donald Trump says loan payments on federally-held student loans could be suspended for 60 days without penalty and the IRS is moving tax day from April 15 to July 15 to give people more time to make payments. He spoke at The White House daily briefing.

Cancel the loans. There are fewer better ways to stimulate the economy than freeing hundreds of dollars a month per individual to go back to local businesses instead of banks

Thankfully, my adult children have no student loans. Did I hear right when he mentioned 60 days? That's crumbs. Now is the time for people to really wake up, if they haven't already, and elect a competent leader in 2020. Money issues are one thing but his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic is nothing less than another crime.

Bullshit! I got an email today telling me that the loan services recognizes the covid-19 outbreak but also that my account is past due if I want to make a payment.
