Sorry but I know for a fact that tips/ gratuities are included in the princess plus and princess premium packages so no 18% add on plus they come with WiFi
And the premium comes with room service. Not to mention the 2 premium restaurants meal and photos

Thanks for the video. We chose the Premier Package for our first Princess Cruise in 2 weeks leaving out of Vancouver. The math appeared to work out for us at least breaking even for a more worry free experience.

My last princess cruise I got to know 3 or 4 bar tenders. At a certain point they stopped scanning my card ;) Several times a day I would get drinks that were not counted. They knew I had a package and I do not get out of control.

Thank you for the info. I searched and searched to see whether plain old water and brewed coffee are included. Your video and various other 3rd parties say yes! Believe it or not, I wasn't even able to get an answer when I called Princess themselves. Some of us do not drink much at all so it is very helpful to see what is included in the basic fare as well as the 2 non-alcohol packages.

I just booked a cruise and when I did the math and I don’t drink but the plus package seem to work the best and be the most economical I needed their top-tier Internet, a soda coffee package, and it takes care of the daily gratuity/crew tips. I believe the package was $60 and when I tried to price these out individually it was more expensive and didn’t include the gratuity. So if I understood it right I think the plus package is probably the best value in trying to go individual items unless you’re really Not needing Internet. But then again they have you because my understanding is everything you book and do goes through their app so you need their Wi-Fi.

By the way, the screenshot you show when you are talking about the Zero Alcohol package (2:40) is titled the Plus package. Had me confused for a bit until I figured it out. Just thought I'd let you know.

It's actually pretty easy to come out ahead on any of the alcoholic packages. An Irish coffee or mimosa at breakfast, a couple margaritas at lunch, a few glasses of wine at dinner, and a nightcap or two before dinner. The only snag is if you have an extended port day and want your wits about you.

In that case just slam em down at dinner.

I think it’s a very good video. People need to understand explicitly what it does and does not include. Regardless, you really need to be a heavy drinker to spend that kind of money daily on booze. Sure, most of us like to tip a few back on the first few days at sea in excitement, quickly fades down after that. I left a party, but I could not imagine drinking seven drinks a day just to break even and my spouse drinking the same amount.

I have a question on cans of soda and bottled water. If you get the Princess Plus or Premier packages - do they exclude cans of soda or do they include them as part of your beverages? Can you get them to put in your mini refrigerator in your room to have later or is that always an extra cost? Thanks.

Have you heard of anyone not getting a package? I’m going on a Princess cruise next month. Water, coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and orange juice sound good to me. I rarely drink pop. There’s no way I could drink that much pop in one day, let alone a week. I wouldn’t mind some of the specialty coffees, but it seems crazy to spend that much on a package just for that. I understand that there are some extras with the packages.

My wife and I have the plus package. When I go to the bar can I order 2 drinks at the same time? One for each person
