I recon a bit of formica on birch ply or flooring grade water resistant chip board would make a great base. That rattling will drive ya nuts when the machine is running, a different part will rattle on a different cut. while its all clean it might be good to slide all the panels out and bed them in the slots with sealant then give them a nice bead when back together otherwise coolants gonna build up and seep out of every orifice. The static will die down after few uses.

Try using some formwork plywood with the black coating. That stuff is perfect.

Hi Dave, Maybe you could add a small extractor fan to the cabinet ducted outside to get ride of any fumes and dust.
The cabinet looks fantastic I am very jealous. Cheers Dave.

You could try painting the plywood with something like Flexseal or Plasti Dip.

maybe some covers on the slots of the aluminum extrusions inside the enclosure. so debris less likely to get in there.
