How do you stop recurring payments on a credit card?

If you locked your credit card will recurring payments still go through? I hate to wait half an hour just to cancel a service.

Didn't help the line to the thieves is blocked getting a new credit card is my only answer to stop the loss of money

I had a subscription of 36 dollars per month to avg antivirus. I recharged my card monthly and forgot the login data from avg account. I blocked the active card, I asked the bank for a new card and the people from avg sent me an email to enter the new bank card for automated payment 😂the bank told me that they can withdraw my money monthly fora utomated subscription if I change the card, but the avg didn't succeed😂😂😂
