Since I own a Softail Heritage, albeit a EVO 80ci, a 27 year old version, I was excited to give the new 114ci equipped Milwaukee Eight version a try. The Heritage is classic Harley Davidson. It comes ready to tour or you can remove the wind screen and bags and ride it around town like a bobber. How does the Heritage 114 compare to other Harley's in their Softail line, let's find out!

I just bought a leftover 2023 Heritage Classic about a month ago first Harley I have ever owned, it was a retirement gift to myself. The power is amazing, the handling is incredible and the bike fits my body like a glove. Thanks for the review keep up the good work. Enjoy!!

Just bought my first Harley. A 24 heritage in Alpine green. I still have 3 kawasakis in my garage. The biggest difference between my Voyager and my Heritage is the authentic build quality and power, power power! Its so unpasteurized and raw. Love it

Eventually i will be purchasing the heritage. I believe its by far the best all around bike harley offers. I do think smaller and older riders like myself definitely benefit the most, a truly wonderful motorcycle! Thanks for sharing!👍

The secret to finding neutral is have the clutch in all the way were it won't go any further.

The Heritage is a iconic model, the last of the original designs

I have a 23 Heritage and I love it. It's my first bike. Mine is in gold. I just put a sissy bar on it. the only negative thing I'd say about it is that the saddle bags are a little small, and I can't really fit my helmet or an extra helmet in it. I'd have to jam it in the bag in order for it to fit.

One thing te dealers keep forgetting to tell you or show you is the security code, it could come in handy if you like that fob

I’ve learned to put it in neutral on the roll to stop and it goes in every time.

I was torn between the Road King and the Heritage. I demo road both and liked the Heritage better but not by much. I got a hella deal on a 23 Heritage in March. There were no Road Kings with in 5000 miles at that time so getting one was not going to be easy and no deals to be had. The Road King is awesome but looks strange when you remove the bags where the Heritage looks clean. I traded in a street Bob 107 and really like the softail line and the shock hidden under the seat. I hope by the time I pay off my Heritage Harley has put the 117 liquid cooled M8 in the Road King and put a similar gage like on the Lowrider S or Nightster special, just a little bigger to go right were the existing gauge is.

I liked the Heritage with the cast spoke wheels. I think Harley would sell even more Heritages if they styled their seat and bags more like the new Icon Hydra-glide. They've got a winner there with that bike.

When I was ready to buy my HD, I was between the RK and Heritage. The price difference was a little more as I would immediately have to swap out the bars on the RK. They are very uncomfortable to the point I couldn't wait to get off it from test ride so I was almost $3k more for it. I went with the Heritage, I have a cam in it and couldn't be happier.

Free tip. The catalytic converter is in the muffler, not the head pipe.

Yup, the old Neutral game. The one complaint my buddy has about his 114 HC compared to my old Sporty 1200.

I've been looking at this model for awhile. I ride a 1998 Road King standard and was hoping to get a new one in a year or so. But Harley removed it from the lineup, just the special left which I don't like as much. This bike looks to be 80 pounds lighter and may be almost as comfortable. I did compare the RK standard to the special a couple years ago. The special did have the larger engine but it also cost quite a bit more. And the special did not come with a windshield, passing lamps, rear crash bars, and passenger foot boards. The seat seemed less comfortable and the riding position seemed better on the standard for me. I suppose I could get a RK special and add all the things I need to make it what I want but the cost would get out of hand. The Heritage comes with everything I would want except front crash bars and passenger foot boards. I do need to go try one out, that's the best way to see if I actually like it well enough to get one. I am torn between the black with black trim or the red with black trim. I have ridden the 107, which is plenty powerful enough. I have not ridden the 114. The only thing I am not all that crazy about are the lace wheels. They look great but are more maintenance intensive. Thanks for the review.

I got a 2019 Hurley beef and heritage and a little bit of long distance awesome. I don't have any crash bar jet but some Dale flagged it up money up by the Subway front crash bars for so I can write a low. Different I love it you know I mean that what I haven't been on a long trip of this one.
I had a 78 goldwing that I went from Lansing new York all the way to Vancouver Canada. Non-stop? Well I stopped longing to pick up fuel and whatever non-stop.
Had a lot of lot of fun with that 1 too.
