Trying Unheard of Korean Meats in India!

At a friends wedding, I was told by a friend to try Beef Tongue at the many restaurants which serve it at South Point Mall In Gurgaon!

The Beef Tongue is sliced and presented to you along with a Korean BBQ Grill in a private room at the Haru Korean Restaurant. You are free to grill it with Garlic and Chillies. Priced at over Rs. 2,500, its not what you would call affordable or cheap. it proved to be a quite an experience os it had a tough texture but was filled with flavour.

Another Dish that we tried was the Spicy Eel, it was way too fishy and gelatinous for my liking.

This meal for 3 including a crab fried rice, couple of beers and a Soju costed us Rs.7,400 :O

I think people need to understand that Beef is just not "Cow". Beef in India is mainly consumed from water buffalos, not the indigenous cow. Cow slaughter of these indigenous female cows is banned, not for buffalos or male cows.
And as per religion, the female indigenous cow is the one that is protected, not buffalos

India is the 4th biggest exporter of beef (12% of the whole world.Some people in South and Northeast eat Beef because it is a part of their culture. People of north consider cow as a holy animal and therefore respect it, hence they dont eat. India is a secular country, everyone has the right to do what they want. As a Christian who eats beef I don't know why people are so mad, I understand that in the Hindu culture a cow is considered sacred, but that does not apply to all other religions, so please I request you to stop hating on other beef eaters.
