Did you know that there could be a dead body on your airplane? It’s one of the many secrets flight attendants know that most people don’t. Also, most “technical delays” are not even technical…they are normally caused by passengers (so next time your plane arrives late, you know who to blame). Here’s another secret for you, there are passengers known as “miracle” passengers. The reason why they are called this is actually funny and sad at the same time. Probably one of the scariest secrets of all is that (spoiler alert) the plane you’re about to fly on is broken…somewhere…and it’s going to fly anyways. Learn all these and more scary, dirty or down right creepy secrets when you watch these 25 secrets flight attendants know that you don’t.

My dad flew for American for decades. He was never gone more than three days at a time. He said it was the only job he'd get up at 3AM to do because he loved it so much.

He also told me to ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. One sudden drop in unexpected turbulence will drive you head first into the ceiling... and break your neck.

One drink in the air may be worth two in the ground BUT costs four times as much as on the ground 😂

oh boy....
23 is bullshit. By often read one every maybe 300 flights. These bodies are in sealed coffins which are then wrapped up in a wide variety or stuff and then strapped to the floor of the cargo hold. Additionally, they are cooled as is the hold itself. If there is liquid on the floor spilled, it will probably freeze. The only way for a "body" to leak is if the pilot did a barrel roll on takeoff.
Number 15 is bullshit as well. There are quite strict regulations about the crew's work times, pilots especially.
13- no one calls them that.
11- in most cases, it is the ramp agent (the person responsible for the flight while it is on the ground) that removes passengers from the plane, not the pilot. The flight attendants may request this from both, but the final decision is with the ramp agent.

These are not secrets, and many of them are simply common sense. Click bait ftl.

With family members who are both pilots and flight attendants, only about half of these are true... beyond that, these aren't just "flight attendants" secrets... they're both not secret and not exclusive to that member of the flight staff.

I love your lists but some of these are ridiculous.

Few notes:
*Pilots are also not paid until the doors close.
*The term "Ramp Rats" is very rarely used, ever.
*Pilots aren't able to talk to the Flight Attendants after the plane begins to taxi.
*If any of the stuff you listed happens during turbulence, it's the result of negligent passengers.
*I can't stress it. 30 minutes to an hour turnaround on planes is HIGH. It can sometimes be around the range of ten minutes.

I've been on six commercial flights in my life and with the exception of my ears not popping (flight attendant gave me some gum that helped a lot) I've never had a problem. As for the 'miracle' passengers, I've not flown since I've been in a wheelchair so I can't imagine what bias those jerks who fake it cause for people like me.

Cool facts that the engine can just burn away then fall off without the fire spreading to the wing, or the removal from the plane of a disturbing passenger due to flight attendents advice. Nice list guys ;)

Jesus. I'm no germaphobe, but this list was enough to make me want to carry disinfectant wipes and keep my shoes on whenever I'm traveling, from now on!

People who either hate to fly or have anxiety from flying (me) will never sleep. I have flown on 4 trips in my life (i'm 54) and get so anxious over flying that my hubby asks the attendant for a drink for me asap. Rum and coke at 9am doesn't help either

Pilots are required to have eight hours of uninterrupted rest per 24 hrs period. For overseas flights greater than 15 hrs an area onboard and outside the cockpit is required to allow the flight crew to rest.

I hate flying, I get a headache as soon as I step on a plane and I always get air sick. I'm not afraid of flying, I just hate it.

Some are questionable, but #15 is definitely wrong, at least in the US. The FAA has strict rules on required rest for flight crews.
