as an AEW fan, i am so happy and proud of Cody for his journey.
he made some of those dark times fun for me when he was on ROH and NJPW and then gave us AEW to watch as well

28:14 that was probably Triple H telling the producers to "STAY ON CODYS, CLOSE UP, PROFILE SHOT.. STAY."

Since Triple H was said to have not agreed with The Rock coming in and taking over booking decisions, Cody was his guy at *that time, * so it seems purposely forced on Cody's face during that shot lol. Triple H knows the power of emoting to the audience.

Cody Rhodes will always have a unique place in wrestling history because he is one of the faces of the original AEW, and also one of the faces of this WWE Renaissance - all within a couple of years. Really, the only others that might be able to claim something like that with two companies of that size are Hogan/Hall/Nash.

Maybe Flair going from WCW to WWF the first time, but even though he was champion, I never really thought he was as popular as Hogan, Savage and Warrior.

Bret seemed to have a top spot in WCW, but that disappeared pretty quick - and WCW was really nWo, Goldberg & Sting's company.

Cody was definitely one of the few recognizable stars in AEW and immediately a top guy, then this WWE version is obviously top guy position, too. Am I missing an obvious one?
