But, Rebel brought the funny when she presented in the Best Director category and poked fun at her flop, "Cats," and the all-male director nominees.

I am surprised by this amount of negative feedback to her speech; I found it really upbeat and relevant. I am tired of royal family’s phony charity work, they didn’t work for it, they are born with it. For charity, I rather go for Gate’s foundation who build capital then gave them. Entertainment business never contribute society with moral or class to begin with, I think Rebel did great job poking fun of that.

AKWARD? That's truly putting lipstick on a pig! She's incredibly rude! She apparently believes making fun of someone's family is funny while they're sitting in the audience. HRH Prince William and HRH Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge showed remarkable restraint at her rude and inappropriate remarks! She owes them both, the Royal Family and everyone viewing this debacle a sincere apology. Ms Wilson wasn't funny just RUDE! When it became clear no one was enjoying her humor she should've stopped but chose to forge ahead and actually seemed to double down. I can't imagine any adult being so completely out of touch with their audience yet she was! There is nothing humorous about making fun of a person's family nor is it ever appropriate. Hurting others is not funny and never will be. She was shockingly NOT funny. I hope her fellow artists let her know how badly she acted so as to never have a repeat performance. There is NEVER a place in Entertainment for such insensitivity and crass behavior. I personally believe her actions should be condemned and that she lose any place of future BAFTA AWARDS and EVENTS! 🇺🇸 🙏💕🇬🇧
