I bought this printer a couple of years ago, it was my first 3DP and it just seemed like a good deal. I've used it to learn and educate myself on 3D printing. It's taking a little bit of tweaking here and there, but it works great.

4 minutes in and that printer is already better then my much more expensive printer.

Anycubic just revolutionary. Cheap and insane result.

Set Cura or whatever slicer you use to print the walls BEFORE the infill, should entirely solve the infill showing on the outside of the print without having to use extra plastic/time with a 4th wall.

Nice, I've been thinking of trying the metallic rainbow filament, looks like you need quite a few layers to get the benefit of the effect. I wish they'd make more mini rainbow spools where the colour changes are quicker at shorter lengths

Thank you for your review, I look a lot of review and you are one of the rare people that try something else than the two little owl 🦉🦉

Nice review. A friend of mine recently bought this printer. So I wondered what you have to say about it.

Never never never go with a Spatula on an Ultrabase. Only wait, if the Bed is under 30 Degrees it pops easy off the bed. With the Spatula you destroy the bed really fast. (Maybe you pin this, you showed your audience the wrong way) (Sorry for my english)

for a beginner, what would you recommend, the anycubic mega, flsun q5, or the voxelab aquila diy? i have zero knowledge and have been watching several youtubers, yourself included, for tips and ideas

You mention upgrading the stepper drivers. Have you done this and do you have a video on it? just got my mega x on your review and love it. but it is very noisy.

I have a question about the Mega it "normal" for the printer to place its print files NOT in the bed center BUT on the left rear of the bed? If I slice in CURA, will the opened file be placed on the bed so it does NOT overhang the bed??? My old Makerbot was quite a bit different in terms of the interface as well as printer

I agree with so many of your points.... to me, it's just yet ANOTHER CR-10 type clone. The part cooling fan on one side bugs me (overhangs for the opposite side could suffer). Like you said, at this day and age, A4988 drivers should be long gone with 2208/2209 drivers available everywhere for not much money. (In comparison, the Eryone Thinker S/SE have 2208 for the same price, depending on sale) Good video :)

Hi I just recently purchased this printer after having problem with my Ender 5. About those step[per drivers? I never really got into replacing things for flashing programs but you said they easily slip in? What should I get? As far as 12v go I only print PLA, PETG and very little TPU. I liked your video Thanks
