Mil gracias Meli. I have wanted to pick this book but I can't even finish Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario. The plot is about Enrique traveling through Mexico to get to the U.S. Is We Are Not From Here heavy on the border crossing experience through Mexico? If it is, I dont think I can read it. I myself crossed the borders and I have deep traumas about it, so I am not sure I can read it.
