Have the Flyers started their yearly overachieving streak? Flyers have all the signs of that one team every year that has no talent but who are a close bunch that makes the playoffs as pretenders, not contenders. But Torts is a genius at making them believe they are great. While the Flyers are winning meaningless games, other teams know how to tank and get better talent in the draft. Flyers will watch the Devils and other younger and more talented teams win cups while the Flyers do what they do best, stay average. Flyers lead the NHL in 3rd period comebacks, Ducks are 2nd, that should tell you something.
