Two-stage phased reopening to Phase 3A (Heightened Alert)

Singapore’s further easing of tightened measures will now occur in two phases, in light of persistent COVID-19 community cases in Singapore:

From 21 June, F&B dine-in and indoor mask-off sports/exercise can resume in group sizes of up to 2 persons.

From mid-July, the group sizes of such activities will increase to a maximum of 5 persons.

Regular testing for staff in higher risk settings will be mandatory from mid-Jul.

Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong was speaking at the Multi-Ministry Taskforce press conference on 18 June 2021.

Yea reservist continues as usual, risking more possible cases in the army camps, just because of "essential Ops", how important is it that you can just say that when more cases has happened in communities which can spread further

To proactive handling of 3rd wave, we should be looking at what happened during 2nd wave management.

A. Daily update of situation- there seem to be a worrying update as there is inconsistency in the report.
B. There should be very clear update to all on the reasons for the worrying numbers like cause, locations, this has proved to be very ambiguous and did not prevent citizens from visiting the areas.
C. Numbers provided are not clear : 18 new community cases, 13 are related to? but no mentioned on which particular cases n 16 are (refer to the numbers given on 17/6.

paranoid we all are... opening like this will backfire if, more cluster emerges. But ow well, show must go on. My only hope for kopitiam to please stick to two person too. Because.... cough, some can be stubborn cough customers.... cough... fight on people. Mask will be forever because we rely much on travellers T_T

Consider cancelling 28 June's reservist. 21-25 June (one week before ours) has been cancelled since 2nd June, and the number of community cases then was hovering around our current infections now. The virus does NOT recognise what a camp pass is.

Very good, always be ready to adjust and adapt. Look for alternatives, and reduce imports of new variants. We wouldn't want to become one of the pioneers for a mutant to emerge.

If nobody wants to go for vaccination, what is the use to keep waiting for citizen to go? Rather than waiting, why don't make it by law that those who have pass the age group, if they decided to go for vaccination, charge each of them $500 so as to put these group of people off by dragging their feet. Also impose fines and jail terms if they contact the virus and they should have taken the vaccination but did not, after they have recover, send them to court. Since these citizens cannot take responsibility then the govt have to act on them tougher.
