Tip for those with bad devices: drive to the runway and get to a high speed then turn your graphics up to max, that makes your car complete the drift slower but the timer still runs at normal speed, thereby giving you a longer drift time. Sometimes your game will crash but this works 70% of the time for me.

I use the Apollo IE with drift tire and i could get 13 seconds consistently my longest drift was 25.89 sec
