The song 'Turn It On Again' by the band Genesis, from their "Duke" album. Audio taken from 1994 stereo remaster on CD.

Lyrics (adapted from liner notes:)
All I need is a TV show, that and the radio
Down on my luck again, down on my luck again
I can show you I can show you some of the people in my life
I can show you I can show you some of the people in my life
It's driving me mad just another way of passing the day
I, I get so lonely when she's not there
I...

You're just another face that I know from the TV show
I have known you for so very long I feel you like a friend
Can't you do anything for me, can I touch you for awhile
Can I meet you on another day and we can fly away

I can show you I can show you some of the people in my life
I can show you I can show you some of the people in my life
It's driving me mad just another way of passing the day
I, I get so lonely when she's not there
I...

Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again (I can see another face)
Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again (I can see another face)
Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again

like I said in my reviews the definite remasters edition in 1994 were the best one for the drums parts (bass drum, toms, snare )with the real original sounds and not remixes boring sweet sounds under the mix

Hey, I met you in the comment section of a post on Reddit. I remember that we talked about an album on YouTube that had crappy quality (I believe it was Corporate America by Boston) and how you said you might try and remake it sometime. If you don’t mind, I’d like to have your username on Reddit, since I can’t remember it for the life of me and I never thought of following you at that point for whatever reason. Thanks!

Jesus in the 2007 version they cranked the shit up of Phil's voice, it seems like he's singing on a megaphone.
Nonetheless is way more theatrical, this version is more cossy.
