Short but true comfort from Psalm 55:22.
Someone recently mentioned wishing she had a simple setting of this verse to recommend to a friend who was bearing heavy burdens. I usually write settings that include more context, but sometimes I have needed simple, short comfort from God’s Word that I can sing again and again. This isn’t metrical or four-part like my tunes for group singing; I hope it’s something you can sing throughout the day when burdens press down on you.
