Without writing an essay on induction motors and hand waving a lot of details: the biggest advantage of brushless motors is they don't have things like brushes or commutators under friction, which is eventually going to cause them to fail. So brushless motors have significantly longer lives. They're also more quiet and typically more efficient.

First off, Happy Anniversary to you and the Mrs. Second, I wanted to thank you for the Ryobi videos. They gave me the confidence that I wouldn't be wasting my money, and because I was looking around online, I found that Ryobi Days aren't over. At least not online as of last night. I was able to pick up the three batteries, charger, and they're 7 1/4" circ saw for that $199. I don't usually subscribe to any YouTube channels, but you saved me so much money with just that one tip, and I really enjoy your videos, so you definitely earned my subscription. Keep making those videos, and also thanks for helping to inspire some wanto in me. Enjoy the rest of your anniversary!

I'm more of a Milwaukee fan. But on a budget Ryobi will work. Fun fact if you buy any battery powered tool buy brushless. Great tip.

I found a deal where you can get a drill/driver, impact, the 5 1/2” circular saw, reciprocating saw, multi tool, flashlight, a 1.5Ah battery and a 4.0Ah battery plus a charger and a tool bag for just $199. That’s a steal if I ever seen one

Love my mower, blower, edger, and weed whacker. That are on the BIG battery plateform... Wife LOVES the fan that can also mist. She uses it while weeding the garden beds. We also love the bug zapper. Handy and portable.

The fan... Priceless in Hurricane, FL! Also for when grilling. Best bought with RD Deals. Also, not mentioned, the LED Light. overpriced at something like $80. BUT.... buy two batteries, get it for free... another great deal, also needed for our hurricane season. Love your reviews, channel and integrity.

I picked up the $199 deal with the JobSite Vacuum and have been very happy with both the vac as well as the batteries! I have that fan as well as the older version. I love them, they are more of a personal space fan and work very well in my shop to keep me cool in the hotter months!

Hey, love the channel. Just wanted to say those ryobi fans are life savers for kids outdoor activities like soccer games, swim practice etc. The battery life is very long, and as a bonus they DO plug into the wall!

I picked up the new 18g Brad nailer this go round. Definitely a great deal like you said.
My one complaint about Ryobi days is that they don’t really give you deals for established Ryobi customers. Something like buy 1 tool get one 50% off or something like that.
One thing to be careful of is to make sure you get the latest version. Sometimes they have the previous model out for sale and if you don’t know that, you may get the older model.

I bought the combo kit several years back and had the same thoughts about the small circular saw - under powered and just doesn’t cut well. Then my skilsaw circular saw finally bit the dust and I was forced to turn to the Ryobi. I put a Diablo blade on it and that made a surprisingly huge difference in the cut and performance of the saw. Now I don’t know why I avoided using this saw for so long. Great review. Love the videos!

I had just bought the 1/2in brushless impact the week before Ryobi Days started. I had not used it so I went back to HD and returned it, got the 199 battery deal and just bought the same impact (since i had already registered it) its a good impact, had no issues working on the car with it. Also got 2 of the $99 battery deals and got the leaf blower and hedge trimmer. I was already in the 18v 1+ line so now i have 7 more batteries and 3 chargers.

Recently had a house fire so I'm rebuying my tool collection. Im firmly in the prosumer level.

So I've chosen to go with a two level plan. Main tools I use frequently like drill, saws, etc will be makita. Everything I use infrequently, caulk/sausage gun, inflator, etc will be Ryobi.

After a lot researc

I have been a Ryobi user since 2017. Back then, they had the most tools on a platform than any other platform available (and still to this day) . I have used extensively for woodworking and yard work with no issues. If your not a tool snob then it's a good deal.
By the way, the small fan has dual power either battery or plug in which is handy and has great power you can feel 20 feet away that lasts for hours

Comment on the fan: It's perfect for camping. I live in the South and the run time will go all night and keep me cool in the tent. I haven't run the battery out, so I can't speak to the total run time. It's nice because I don't have to plug in a fan or use expensive "D" size batteries like other camping fans. It also has the option to plug in 110V standard outlet.

I entered the Ryobi system a couple years ago and I've been adding tools steadily. The reasonable pricing lets me had a lot of specialty tools that I would never consider otherwise.

Absolutely love the six bay battery charger.

I do have a first world problem tho... Frequently the tools that include batteries are cheaper than buying them tool only... As a result, I've collected enough batteries that I could probably run a small EV 😂
