Demolition crews begin cutting into Baltimore bridge wreckage

With the massive salvage operation underway at the collapsed Baltimore Key bridge, officials are now planning to create a temporary channel that will allow commercial ships to access the critical port. NBC’s Aaron Gilchrist reports for TODAY.

The overhead heavy iron steel work must have been the result of the collapsed bridge. So precautionary measures should be taken in reconstruction, especially the use of fortified pillars with excellent iron steel.

Isn’t it extremely coincidental that the ship can sail halfway around the world without losing power but once the Baltimore channel pilots take the wheel it crashes into a bridge ??? I for one am very proud of the many Americans who are hard at work on the accident site removing the Fallen bridge and clearing the channel, which is a colossal undertaking.. God Bless America and our great President Joe Biden🇺🇲
