Hello everybody, and welcome to my cover of "In Spite Of All The Danger" - one of the very first songs recorded by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison in 1958 as The Quarrymen, before they remade their group into The Beatles.

"In Spite Of All The Danger" was originally recorded on an low-quality acetate disk at the home studio of Mr. Percy F. Phillips' in July of 1958 - costing young John, Paul, George and two of their mates a grand total of 17 shillings and sixpence. It formed the B-side to their cover of Buddy Hollies' classic "That'll Be The Day". The recording was then lost to The Beatles for some 30 years, remaining in the private possession of erstwhile pianist John Lowe.

It was only officially released in 1995, as part of longtime producer George Martin's Anthology Project, who delved into old rare material and demos of The Beatles. Even though Martin was able to clean up the track, it still featured a great amount of noise and distortion because of the original quality.

It does however succeed in showcasing the raw talent of the young group, the brooding energy of John Lennon, as well as the budding songwriting and arranging skills of Paul McCartney and George Harrison.

This rendition features me on:

-Vocals
-Guitars
-Piano
-Keys
-Höfner Violin Bass
-Drum Programming

Enjoy, have a nice summer, and please stay tuned for more!
