When there is a tie, we have to consider whether the ties are laying on the same column or in the different column. If the ties are on the same column we have to allocate on the tie having smallest supply quantities, other wise we have to allocate first on the tie having on more demand quantities.

Is it possible to get that the total cost in an unbalanced table is more in the Least Cost Method than when calculated using N.W corner Rule?

Sir in this question only, I am getting some fluctuation in answer as 355 instead of 358, so it is correct or answer should be accurate always.
