Law of the digital economy I: Introduction

Official opening of the digital Economy certificate programme Lecture by Professor Dr Nikolaus Forgo (University of Vienna) and Introductory lecture by Professor Dr Thomas Hoeren (Münster).

In his presentation Professor Dr Nikolaus Forgo explains the effects of technology and its progress over time. He explains how this progress is and must be regulated and gives an introduction to the AI Act by the European Union.

Professor Dr Hoeren explains the different contents of the Law of the Digital economy programme. After that he gives an overview of the concerned international law He presents different international organizations that cover the Law of the Digital Economy and presents information security models concerning the use of AI. To conclude, Professor Dr Hoeren explains possible effects on concerned fundamental Rights.
