Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with possible heavy downpours, hail and strong winds leading to localised flooding of low-lying bridges, settlements and roads, damage to infrastructure possible over the northern and central parts of both the Eastern and Western Cape, central and southern parts of Northern Cape, as well as the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Yellow level 2 warning for Wind and Waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas.

Extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected over the north-western parts of the Western Cape.
