Abbath's heart bleeds metal, fucking pure and raw. I remember this awesome track from the Between Two Worlds album, and it blew me away. And King's bass playing is always superb.

I love the variety in Black Metal, you can go from cold Atmospheric BM to the 2nd wave 90s low fi sound to SDBM to very serious ethos in bands like Gorgoroth to a well produced and progressive band like Abbath who are merging genres.

It’s the best metal genre IMO. I passed through all the others getting more extreme until I found the energy and passion I was seeking in BM.
