Like Donald Trump, JD Vance is another a wounded child acting out as a vindictive adult. I get that he’s mad at his mommy. While I'm sorry that his upbringing was challenging, the American public should not be subjected to the consequences of his childhood traumas.

We older guys spent most of our lives in a world that was so misogynistic that we were scarcely aware of it. Sure, there were some women who succeeded in business, the arts, public life, but my heart now breaks to think of the limitations that were placed on most of the women in our lives.

"Childless Cat Lady" here. I just started watching your channel. Thank you for caring for us singles. I grew up conservative Mennonite and thought their indirect way of shunning us singles was bad....I must admit JD Vance is far worse.

I’m so thankful for what you said. Life happens, decisions are made, and we live to the best of our ability. As a single, childless teacher I had the ability to stay late with students whose parents didn’t come in a timely manner for pickup. I bought food, clothing, Christmas gifts for those who didn’t have. I invested a lot of my personal life in making sure my students knew I cared and was on their side, all without indoctrinating my beliefs on them. And what I did for 30 years is now being torn down by the likes of Vance and the MAGA crew makes me fear for this country. I implore the men of this country to speak up for the women in your life.

Thank you so much for your insightful look at what's happening in America now. We are of the same generation (I am a 76 year old woman) and we have seen many changes in our lifetime. Good and Bad. Right now it is bad with Trump and his gang of followers. I'll try and make this comment brief but it does bring back memories of my father. He was ahead of his time now that I look back. He always encouraged me to vote considering how he said he could never understand why women weren't allowed to vote when he was growing up. He told me how women fought to get the vote and it was my responsibility to carry out what these women fought so hard to gain. I hope all women will take advantage of their right to vote and get Trump and his disgusting cohorts out of any office of power. I hope our country can survive this horrible display of hate and come together once and for all. Vote Blue!
