Outlander's Sam Heughan Admits He "ALMOST QUIT'..

Welcome back to Scene Spotlight. Outlander leading man Sam Heughan claims he nearly quit a new side project after it took him some time away from the show that made his name. Heughan detailed his struggles in his new memoir Waypoints, which followed his journey along the West Highland Way.

“I very much felt the pressure of having to have a certain body type,” he revealed. “Early on I didn't really know what I was doing. So I would literally starve myself.” “And I forced myself to do crazy amounts of cardio to sort of lean down as much as I could.”
