I think it’s worth noting that in Reimu’s case, whenever she tries too hard, she fails, that’s why she just chose to go with the flow. It’s not she always wins, it’s more like she only wins when she stays at peace.

I think Reimu is a metaphor for the player that doesn't want to spend 200 hours trying to do the same level to get the 1cc

Imagine Reimu training four months and becoming golden Reimu. She would get a health bar and one hit any boss.

I came in to know why Reimu was lazy, but ended up convinced why Marisa is the best girl. Change my mind

That art of Marisa with Reimu wearing her hat was really cute

I hate that you didn't include the "take whats ours" part, considering that Marisa does to patchouli

I mean, if her IN last word is canon, she can casually "float" outside of reality to attack while being essentially invincible.

Even if she'll technically never be as powerful as Reimu, you really have to admire Marisa for coming as far as she did. If Reimu followed her philosophy, incidents would be over in a snap even without using her most powerful abilities that break spell card rules.

It’s about drive
It’s about power
She stays she devours
She puts in the works
She puts in the hours
And “borrows” what (isn’t) her’s

It refects on gameplay since Reimu by her shot type do part of the job, aiming to the ennemies. The player use the power of Reimu to take care of the ennemies, letting them with only dodging
Marisa takes time since you need more skill to stay below bosses and ennemies (also routing) but rewards you when you pull it out since you kill ennemies faster

You made this entire video just for that last part, didn’t you?

Technically, that is the same problem that all characters with great powers have: they depend a lot on them.
I'm not just talking about Reimu but also characters like Superman, Discord, Sentry among others, they take for granted that his powers will always be there and neglect any other type of training, be it combat or aim.
But if Reimu lost her powers, she would hardly know how to defend herself from her rival, while Reisen, Momiji, Meiling, Sakuya and Youmu, being powerful Yokais, if they lost their powers they would continue to be lethal due to their other combat abilities. who tend to train frequently, especially Meiling

As much as this is supposed to be a "simple" answer, you somehow manage to make it interesting and engaging regardless.

It's about the books.
Just don't devour someone else's books, Marisa. And that's a thing I enjoy on magicians. Put the effort, and get that brainpower.

Reimu's training is beating on small ice fairies.

Also Marisa takes what's (not) hers

Someone made a speculation on Marisa's character based on child psychology which connects a child's desire in collecting things to his or her ambition for being powerful and competitive. In real life, said children are likely to form a habit of theft. Their lack of inner safety lead to accumulation of items and appearing to be carefree.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the Marisa of the Dream World in AoCF spits her dark side, envying Reimu and Yukari.
