This will all cause utility increases as well. Steel, precious metals, and other likely tariffed items are necessary to upgrade the grid and do maintenance. My dryer needs a replacement and I'll be switching to a heat pump dryer now, and I'm going to make the jump to a convection stove. I'll also finally seal and insulate my ductwork to keep my utility prices a little lower. I feel really bad for those on a fixed income.
